Sturdy Wood Bird House for Owls and Kestrels provides a safe, sturdy roost for small owls or kestrels in your yard. The rectangular shape creates plenty of nesting space, with small openings on each corner of the base for drainage. A 3" diameter entry allows passage, while the sloped roof and substantial overhang protect the interior from the weather. An image of a screech owl clinging to a branch is burnt into the front panel for added design.
Ventilation holes near the top help regulate temperature for nestlings, and a unique thumbscrew at the base of the front panel keeps the home latched. Open this panel for nest checks, or move the included sliding baffle. The panel rests within grooves on the sides and can sit at the bottom of the roost to protect eggs during maintenance. At the end of the season, slide the panel upward and use the included wooden tabs to block the entry hole. Three predrilled holes at the top of the home enable secure mounting to a post or tree. The wooden body adds natural charm, and its durable hardware and the image on the front panel contribute to a lasting roost. Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
