Organic Pinto Bean Seeds for Home Garden
Pinto beans are a versatile and reliable legume, cherished for their speckled appearance and hearty flavor. The pods mature to reveal creamy beige seeds with reddish-brown streaks, making them as attractive as they are delicious. They thrive in full sun and well-draining soil and mature in about 85–90 days. The bushy, compact plants suit small gardens or interplanting with other crops and are rich in protein and fiber for meals such as soups, stews, refried beans, and burritos.
Plant directly in the garden when soils have warmed and danger of frost has passed, keeping seedbeds evenly moist. Soils should be 70–85°F for planting, at a depth of 1 inch. Germination takes 5–11 days, and plants reach 2–3 feet in height. After thinning, space 4–6 inches apart. Water lightly at planting, moderately at flowering, and heavily through harvest, avoiding overhead watering. Leave pods on the plant to dry completely, then store the dry, shelled beans in an airtight container.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
