Pinguicula moranensis var. roseii is a carnivorous butterwort. The plants in the pictures are representative, and you will receive a similar plant. They are shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect them. We ship the plants on Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cutoff.
Current plant size is 1 to 2 inches in diameter. They have been grown under LED lights with daytime temperatures around 75–80°F and nighttime temperatures around 55–70°F. It is strongly recommended to use a heating pack during winter to protect the plant from low temperatures, with one heating pack per order being sufficient. Light: A sunny windowsill, T5, or LED lights; Potting medium: Mexican Pinguicula mix; Feeding: fish food or bugs every 3–4 weeks; Water: keep soil moist; Humidity: 50–80%; Temperature: 55–85°F; Mature size: 3–4 inches (depending on care); Dormancy: None, but the plant may go into a succulent state during winter depending on temperatures.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
