Pinguicula emarginata x moctezumae is a carnivorous butterwort plant. The images show representative specimens, and you will receive a similar plant. Plants ship bare-root in a plastic container for protection. We ship on Mondays and Wednesdays to avoid weekend cutoffs. The plant has been grown under LED lights with daytime temperatures around 75–80°F and nighttime temperatures around 55–70°F.
Care essentials: shipped size is 1–2 inches in diameter; mature plants can reach 3–4 inches with proper care. Provide bright light from a sunny windowsill, T5, or LED fixtures. Use Mexican Pinguicula mix as the potting medium. Feed every 3–4 weeks with fish food or small prey. Keep soil moist, with humidity at 50–80%, and maintain 55–85°F. May enter a succulent-like dormancy in winter. A heating pack is recommended in winter; one per order.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
