Pinguicula agnata (Mesaleon, Hidalgo, Méx) is shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect it during transit. The plants in the pictures are representative, and you will receive a similar plant. They are about 1 inch in diameter and are not flowering at the moment. Butterworts have been grown under LED lights with daytime temperatures around 75~80°F and nighttime temperatures around 55~70°F. We ship the plants on Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cut off.
Care and growing conditions: Potting medium is Mexican Pinguicula mix. Light: a sunny windowsill, T5, or LED lights. Water: keep soil moist. Humidity: 50-80%. Temperature: 55-85°F. Mature plant size: 3-4 inches, depending on care. Feeding: fish food or bugs every 3-4 weeks. Dormancy: none, may go into a succulent state during Winter (depending on temperatures). It is strongly recommended to get a heating pack during the winter to protect your plant from low temperatures; 1 heating pack per order is enough. We are not responsible for dead plants that did not have a heating pack during transit.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
