Greenhouse PVC Coated Spring Wire Lock
PVC Coated Spring Wire 6½ ft per piece is designed to securely attach greenhouse plastic and shade cloth. Each piece is approximately 0.083 inches thick and 6½ feet long and will stretch out to 7 feet when installed. The PVC coating protects the plastic from wear and tear and won’t degrade it. The wire is reusable and easy to remove and re-install by wiggling in and out of the lock channel.
Use with lock channel (sold separately or in a bundle) to tightly secure poly-plastic and shade cloth with minimal effort. Lock channels install on baseboards, hip boards, and end walls on the hoop; they can be attached with wood screws on wooden bases or self-tapping screws into metal, with pre-drilling recommended for wood. For sidewall insect netting added to hoop house greenhouse kits, extra spring wire may be needed; see the chart for wire quantities by hoop house length: 20'—17, 40'—32, 60'—44, 80'—56, 100'—68.
