This greenhouse repair tape helps address tears in greenhouse plastic caused by the elements. It supports indoor and outdoor use, with low-temperature resistance to -20°C (-4°F) and high-temperature resistance to 60°C (140°F). UV resistance lasts up to four years, and the tape resists moisture, wind, chemicals, and abrasion. It can be used to splice polyethylene films, cover seams, act as a weather sealant for doors and windows, and temporarily hold down plastic for larger repairs. It also notes that keeping a roll on hand can prevent a small hole from becoming a larger tear when wind picks up.
Product details include a thickness of 150 microns (6 mil), composed of 10% EVA, 85% PE, and 5% UV. Anti-UV time is 34,000 hours and dispersiveness is ≤0.1. For repairs, wash both sides of the plastic with mild soap and water, rinse, and dry before applying tape. Place a piece large enough to extend beyond the damage on both the inside and outside, and ensure the tape sticks to itself through the hole. Check taped repairs every 6–8 months.
