Red Wigglers for Vermicomposting and Living Soil. Eisenia fetida are surface-dwelling worms that turn organic matter into biologically active fertilizer. They’re shipped with active bedding to reduce transplant stress and are raised in controlled conditions. Once placed, they continuously break down waste, cycle nutrients, and support soil structure from the top down.

Why Red Wigglers? Eisenia fetida is epigeic—a surface-dwelling worm suited to dense, oxygen-rich environments. They work well in indoor or outdoor bins, raised beds, and living soil systems. They feed on decomposing plant matter and carbon sources, can consume up to half their body weight daily, and produce nutrient-rich castings with essential minerals and microbes.
