El saw palmetto ( Serenoa repens ) es una palmera resistente y de crecimiento lento, originaria del sureste de Estados Unidos, conocida por sus hojas en abanico y sus densos racimos de pequeñas bayas de color negro rojizo. Esta planta nativa prospera en llanuras costeras, pinares y suelos arenosos. Aunque se cultiva principalmente con fines ornamentales, el saw palmetto es ampliamente reconocido por sus propiedades medicinales, en particular por favorecer la salud urinaria y prostática. Sus bayas se han utilizado durante siglos en la medicina tradicional, y el saw palmetto sigue siendo un remedio herbal popular en la actualidad.
Características distintivas, usos y valor medicinal
Frutos: El saw palmetto produce bayas pequeñas y oscuras que se han utilizado en la medicina herbal durante siglos. Estas bayas son ricas en ácidos grasos y fitoesteroles, que se cree que contribuyen a la salud de la próstata, especialmente en el tratamiento de la hiperplasia prostática benigna (HPB) y en la promoción de una función urinaria saludable. Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
