La higuera de roca (Ficus petiolaris), también llamada higuera de pecíolo o higuera de roca mexicana, es una especie de higuera hermosa y resistente, nativa de los bosques tropicales secos de México y Baja California. Recibe su nombre por su notable capacidad para crecer en laderas rocosas y acantilados, a menudo aferrándose a la piedra desnuda con dramáticas raíces expuestas y una forma natural similar a un bonsái.
Esta higuera es apreciada por su impresionante apariencia: grandes hojas en forma de corazón con venas rosadas, un dosel extendido y una base engrosada similar a un cáudice que se forma con el tiempo, lo que la convierte en el centro de atención en cualquier paisaje o maceta. El árbol es altamente adaptable y resistente a la sequía, prosperando en condiciones áridas o subtropicales con suelo bien drenado y mucho sol.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
