La planta de uva moscatel 'Alachua' ( Vitis rotundifolia ) es una variedad de uva moscatel negra de alto rendimiento, cultivada aquí mismo en Florida, seleccionada por su increíble dulzor, su intenso color morado oscuro y su vigoroso crecimiento. Esta variedad produce uvas de tamaño mediano a grande con piel tierna, lo que las hace ideales para consumo en fresco, elaboración de jugos, gelatinas o incluso para la vinificación en pequeñas cantidades.
A diferencia de otras variedades de uva, las plantas de moscatel son originarias del sureste de Estados Unidos y están excepcionalmente adaptadas a climas cálidos y húmedos. La variedad 'Alachua' es autofértil, lo que significa que produce frutos por sí sola, y es conocida por su excepcional resistencia a enfermedades, especialmente al mal de Pierce y al oídio.
Las vides prosperan a pleno sol y en suelos bien drenados, y crecen rápidamente en espalderas, pérgolas o cercas. Producen de forma fiable año tras año y requieren muy poco mantenimiento una vez establecidas. ¡Ideales para paisajes comestibles, jardines silvestres y bosques de alimentos del sur!

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again. Hoghly recommend this shop.
