Este es un árbol frutal tropical del viejo mundo, con una distribución nativa aún incierta (se sospecha que su origen es Malasia). Sin embargo, su estatus como árbol frutal naturalizado en las zonas tropicales de Sudamérica es prueba de su resistente crecimiento. El manzano malayo puede alcanzar hasta 18 metros de altura en estado silvestre, pero puede permanecer bajo y denso en cultivo. El manzano malayo requiere condiciones de crecimiento cálidas y húmedas para obtener los mejores resultados.
Es una adición fascinante a cualquier colección de árboles tropicales, con nuevos brotes de color rojo vino. Los manzanos malayos parecen florecer en secreto, con flores cubiertas por el follaje y prácticamente invisibles hasta que están en el suelo. Los frutos malayos son populares en las regiones donde el árbol está naturalizado. Maduran 60 días después de la floración y se recomienda recolectarlos a mano para obtener mejores resultados. Aunque algunas personas reportan un sabor bastante suave, su piel cerosa de color rosa y su pulpa blanca y crujiente lo convierten en una dulce tentación.

These markers were perfect for ones that we were replacing. The quality is great and they seem sturdy. The gold detail stands out and is visible from a distance. Shipping was very fast.
Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again. Hoghly recommend this shop.
