La Palmera Jelly (Butia capitata), también conocida como Palma Pindo o Palmera del Vino, es una palmera resistente de crecimiento lento, nativa de Sudamérica. Conocida por sus frondas arqueadas y plumosas y por su deliciosa fruta agridulce, la Palmera Jelly es tanto un árbol ornamental como productivo en cuanto a sus frutos. El árbol produce racimos de pequeñas frutas de color naranja-amarillo que saben a níspero y pueden comerse frescas o usarse para hacer jaleas, mermeladas y vino, de ahí su nombre común. Adaptable a una variedad de climas, la Palmera Jelly tolera temperaturas frías, lo que la convierte en una excelente adición a jardines en regiones templadas.

Frutos: La Palmera Jelly produce racimos de frutos redondos, de color naranja a amarillo, que tienen un sabor agridulce, similar a la piña y el albaricoque. Estos frutos pueden comerse frescos, usarse en conservas o fermentarse para hacer vino. Los frutos son ricos en vitaminas A y C y son conocidos por su sabor refrescante.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
