Las semillas germinarán a temperatura ambiente normal entre 30 y 40 días, pero el uso de una estera propagadora calentada a 80 grados puede reducir ese tiempo a la mitad.

Este vistoso, denso y pequeño arbusto enano exhibe atractivas flores simples de color rojo anaranjado desde temprana edad, seguidas de un brillante fruto ornamental de color rojo anaranjado. Excelente para macetas o para su uso en el jardín. Un ejemplar de bonsái muy efectivo. Prospera en zonas con veranos cálidos y secos. Si bien las granadas vienen en una variedad de tamaños, la variedad Nana se considera la granada enana. Al alcanzar una altura madura de entre 90 y 120 cm, es ideal para su uso en setos paisajísticos, macetas e incluso en jardinería de bonsáis. Una explosión de flores anaranjadas y rojas durante el verano y luego un amarillo dorado en otoño es lo que se puede esperar de un arbusto de granada enano. Producen granadas, pero el fruto es más pequeño y tiene un sabor diferente.
