Árbol de Jamun (Syzygium cumini)
El árbol Jamun, ciruelo de Java, jambul, ciruelo negro o jambolán, es un árbol perenne de la familia de las mirtáceas (Myrtaceae), originario de la India y naturalizado en el sudeste asiático y regiones tropicales de todo el mundo. Se cultiva comúnmente como árbol ornamental de sombra y por sus frutos comestibles de color morado oscuro.
El árbol de Jamun alcanza alturas de 24 a 30 metros y, al madurar, presenta una hermosa copa extendida. Sus fragantes flores de color crema florecen en las ramas durante la primavera y se convierten en frutos verdes del tamaño de una ciruela que maduran hasta adquirir un color morado oscuro. Al madurar, son dulces y ácidos, y se pueden consumir frescos en ensaladas o batidos, o en vino, vinagre, salsas, mermeladas, jaleas o sorbetes. Los frutos de Jamun son muy nutritivos y una buena fuente de antioxidantes, fitoquímicos y vitamina C. En la medicina ayurvédica, se utilizan para prevenir la diabetes, tratar problemas digestivos y como purificador de la sangre. Culturalmente, se consideran un "fruto de los dioses" y se mencionan en los textos sagrados hindúes.
El jamun prospera en regiones tropicales, pero su resistencia al frío lo convierte en un excelente árbol frutal para cultivar al aire libre en climas subtropicales. Crece mejor en suelos húmedos y bien drenados, a pleno sol, y es resistente en las zonas USDA 9 a 11.

These markers were perfect for ones that we were replacing. The quality is great and they seem sturdy. The gold detail stands out and is visible from a distance. Shipping was very fast.
Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
