El diente de león jamaicano, también conocido como planta de mear o planta de café sen, es una planta bienal de ciclo corto, de tropical a subtropical, nativa de las Américas tropicales. Pertenece a la familia Fabaceae y está emparentada con el algarrobo y el lablab . Sus hojas robustas y compuestas albergan delicados racimos florales amarillos y vainas de semillas.
Se aprovecha cada parte de esta planta de rápido crecimiento. Tradicionalmente usado en Jamaica como calmante para el resfriado y diurético, el diente de león jamaicano, de sabor amargo, se usa para depurar el hígado y aliviar la disnea. Aplicado externamente, las hojas se usan para la tiña y el eczema. Las semillas, una vez tostadas y molidas, se utilizan para preparar una bebida similar al café, que se dice que ayuda a la vejiga y los riñones.
El diente de león de Jamaica se ha utilizado desde hace mucho tiempo por sus propiedades beneficiosas. Con propiedades antibacterianas, anticancerígenas, antidiabéticas, antifúngicas, antiinflamatorias y antimutagénicas comprobadas, es una herramienta muy útil.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
