El árbol de anón colorado (Annona reticulata), también conocido como Corazón de Buey por su forma de corazón, es un árbol frutal tropical distintivo, famoso por su fruta deliciosamente dulce y aromática. El árbol en sí tiene un tamaño moderado, lo que lo hace adecuado para una variedad de espacios de jardín, y se caracteriza por sus hojas verdes brillantes y sus flores fragantes de color crema-amarillo. La piel de la fruta es singularmente reticulada, con un tono marrón rojizo cuando está madura, y la pulpa interior es cremosa, de color blanco a amarillo claro, y está llena de una agradable textura similar a la de una natilla.
Es nativo de las Indias Occidentales, América Central y el sur de México, y un cultivo en el sur de México hasta Perú y Brasil. Esta variedad prospera en climas cálidos, tropicales a subtropicales, y requiere suelo bien drenado y riego regular para asegurar un crecimiento saludable y una abundante producción de frutos. Cuando está completamente madura, la fruta se puede disfrutar fresca, usar en postres o mezclar en batidos para un refrescante placer.

Cave un agujero del doble del ancho del cepellón, pero no más profundo, para fomentar la expansión de las raíces sin un entierro profundo. Riegue regularmente, dejando que la tierra se seque ligeramente entre riegos, y fertilice con un fertilizante balanceado de liberación lenta durante los períodos de crecimiento. Se necesita una poda mínima; solo elimine las ramas muertas o superpuestas para mejorar el flujo de aire y la forma. Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
