1. Aspecto: El chile fantasma blanco tiene una forma distintiva, ligeramente arrugada y alargada, con la punta puntiaguda. Como su nombre indica, el fruto madura con un llamativo color blanco cremoso. La planta es bastante compacta y suele alcanzar de 60 a 90 cm de altura.
2. Picante: El Bhut Jolokia Blanco es un chile extremadamente picante. Aunque es un poco menos picante que el Bhut Jolokia Rojo, sigue siendo excepcionalmente picante y debe manipularse con precaución. Es importante recordar usar guantes al manipular estos chiles y evitar tocarse los ojos.
