El legendario árbol de plátano Blue Java, también conocido como plátano "Ice Cream", es un cultivo imprescindible para cualquier amante de las frutas tropicales o paisajista comestible. Esta llamativa variedad produce una fruta cremosa con sabor a vainilla y una textura suave, similar a la de un postre, lo que le ha valido un seguimiento de culto. Su sabor único y su hermosa fruta de tonos azules la hacen deliciosa y llamativa.
Antes de madurar, los plátanos son de un color azul plateado helado, volviéndose amarillo pálido cuando están maduros. La pulpa es suave, dulce y recuerda a la crema pastelera de vainilla o al helado suave, lo que la hace ideal para batidos, postres congelados o para comer fresca directamente del tallo.
El Blue Java crece como un árbol de plátano de maduración rápida, alcanzando de 12 a 20 pies de altura con hojas anchas y resistentes al viento. Es resistente al frío para un plátano, tolerando temperaturas de hasta los 20 grados (°F) una vez establecido. Prospera en las Zonas 8b-11 y es uno de los pocos plátanos adecuados para cultivadores en áreas subtropicales más cálidas, no solo en los trópicos.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
