Crafted from resilient hickory or restricted white oak, each shaft features a deliberate forward swell that transitions into gently upturned edges for controlled swing leverage. Unlike mass-produced straight blanks, this silhouette distributes weight near the working end to improve cutting efficiency and reduce user fatigue during prolonged splitting tasks.
Arriving at 31 inches from production, the handle relies on its built-in palm swell to protect the finish until after the axe head is securely mounted. Removing this excess section eliminates potential marring from your hanging mallet and lets you taper the grip to your personal preference. The tapered eye accommodates oversized heads measuring 2 1/2 by 15/16 inches, making it ideal for Connie, Jersey, and similar tall-eyed axes, while the broad 2 7/8 by 1 inch shoulder locks the poll firmly in place.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
