The product description notes a difference between Grade A handles and Grade B handles. Formerly called the '19 Thin', this hatchet handle has earned a place in the Whiskey River Heritage Series as a simple, classic 19" hatchet handle. It is expertly hand shaped to create a slim, ergonomic grip, and these 19s are thin. Hickory is the constant material, with White Oak offered in very limited numbers. The eye measures 1 7/8 inches by 3/4 inch, and it is proudly made in the USA.
Each handle is hand picked by our axe swinging team to ensure quality. To customize the look, you can add a walnut wedge or an extra poplar wedge. Every axe comes with the proper wedge. White Oak versions are offered in very limited numbers, and depending on supply, there is no guarantee the White Oak version will continue.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
