Venus flytrap 'Guava Sawtooth' (Dionaea muscipula) is a small carnivorous plant sold in a 2.5" pot as a young specimen about 2–3" across. The plant lures insects with nectar on its inner walls. It traps prey when a trigger hair (trichome) is touched, causing the trap to close; the cilia on the trap edges interlock to prevent escape. After capture, digestive enzymes break down the prey, with digestion lasting up to ten days.
Venus flytraps are dormant in winter (Oct–Feb/Mar). If shipped during dormancy, plants may be smaller but emerge stronger in spring and summer. You will receive 1 similar plant to the pictures (not the same plant), in a 2.5" pot, with care instructions, and it ships by First Class Mail.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
