Venus Flytrap Biohazard II (Dionaea muscipula) is a live plant shipped in a 2.5" pot as a young plant about 1–2" across. It grows in full to partial sun and is potted in peat & perlite or pure peat. Water with the tray method and maintain humidity between 50% and 85%. In spring and summer, keep temperatures between 65–80°F; in colder months, 35–55°F. The plant undergoes winter dormancy from October through February or into March; during dormancy it may be smaller and requires less water. Care instructions are included.
Venus flytraps attract insects with nectar on the inner walls of the trap. The trap closes when a trichome is triggered or two spikes touch within a few seconds. Edges with hairlike cilia interlock when the trap closes, making escape difficult. Once closed, enzymes digest the prey for up to ten days, leaving only the exoskeleton. Some plants are greener than others. Mature size depends on plant care.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
