Venus flytrap 'Angel Wings' (Dionaea muscipula) is a carnivorous plant whose traps lure insects with nectar on the inner walls. The trap closes when its middle trichomes are triggered; touching a trichome multiple times or two different spikes within a few seconds closes the trap. Edges have hair-like cilia that interlock to prevent escape. After closure, enzymes digest the prey, leaving only the exoskeleton, a process up to ten days. The plant is dormant in winter (Oct-Feb/Mar). If shipped during dormancy, it will be smaller but rebound in spring. You’ll get one similar plant to the photos (not the exact plant). Shipped via First Class Mail. Plants come in a 2.5" pot and are young, about 2–3" across. Care instructions are included.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
