Urtica dioica Stinging Nettle Seeds are perennial seeds for cultivating a verdantherb garden. Stinging nettle is a well-traveled plant, found in North America, Europe, North Africa, and parts of Asia. While the plant stings, the leaves lose their sting when cooked and are iron-rich compared with spinach, making nettles a flavorful addition to salads or as a spinach substitute.
Seeds are small and mixed with garden sand for easier sowing. A cold treatment before germination is recommended. The seeds have a high germination rate, with sprouts appearing in 10–14 days. Harvest nettles 80–90 days from seed, picking the top 4–5 inches of growth for best flavor and nutrition. Remember to wear gloves when working with this plant to avoid the sting.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
