This Twin XL solid wood platform bed frame is made in the USA from Tulip Poplar and arrives unfinished and chemical-free. The slat spacing is 4.5 inches, and it has a platform height of 15 inches with 12 inches from floor to bottom of rail. Dimensions are 81.5 x 40 x 15 inches and the frame weighs 44 pounds (shipping weight 45 pounds).
No box spring is required. For memory foam or latex mattresses that require under 3 inches of slat spacing, choose the Plus version. Most customers leave the wood unfinished, but finishing instructions are provided for staining or painting. Made in the USA with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
