Organic German Winter Thyme for Cooking
German Winter Thyme is a hardy perennial herb celebrated for its bold, savory aroma and culinary versatility. Compact plants reach about 8–12 inches tall and produce small dark-green leaves packed with flavor, ideal for seasoning soups, roasts, sauces, and marinades. It thrives in full sun and well-draining soil, is drought-tolerant and frost-hardy, and supplies fresh or dried leaves year-round. In summer, the plants bloom with small purple flowers that attract bees and other pollinators.
Regular harvesting encourages fresh growth and sustained flavor. Thyme tolerates containers and borders as well as garden beds, and can be grown from seed or as a potted plant. For best results, plant in well-drained soil with moderate nutrients; avoid overly rich soil to maintain a compact habit. If starting from seed, indoor sow 6–8 weeks before the last frost, or sow directly 2–3 weeks before. Height at maturity is 8–12 inches, with maturity in about 90–100 days.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
