Surinam Cherry Tree is a perennial evergreen fruit tree that produces bright red tropical cherry fruit. The fruit is delicious, nutritious, and ornamental with a rich, sweet flavor.
Ripe Surinam cherries are soft to the touch with a thin skin and a tart, acidic flavor; under-ripe fruit is bitter. The trees are vigorous, fast growers, commonly grown as hedges, and reach up to 10–12 feet tall and wide with space. Native to tropical South America's east coast, it is known by many names including pitanga and Suriname cherry.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
