Sunspot sunflowers are designed for small spaces, requiring less room and light than regular sunflowers. They’re ideal for a porch, patio, or balcony garden, and can even be grown indoors with full sun.
For sowing, use a 12 Cavity Greenhouse or Planter with Humidity Dome, with Soil Pellets or Soil Pods and Liquid Fertilizer. These seeds are for the 2026 growing season. Germination takes 10–15 days at 70–85F, about 1/2 inch deep, with 2–3 seeds per planter in a >6 inch container. Seed prep options include pre-soak, scarification, stratification, or none; sowing methods include greenhouse or paper towel. Plants reach 30–36 inches tall with 8–10 inch blooms on thick, upright stems.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
