Sugar Beet Seeds Non-GMO Heirloom 250 Pack offer a root crop with high sugar content. The white, tapered roots can weigh up to three pounds, and the greens are edible. The crop matures in about 90 days and is popular for feeding livestock and deer.
For sowing, direct sow outside 4 weeks before the last frost. Soak seeds 2 hours, then plant 1 inch deep and 1 inch apart in rows 1–2 feet apart in full sun and well-drained soil; germination should occur in 5–15 days. Add compost for healthy growth. Each beet seed holds up to 8 seeds, so thinning to 3 inches apart is recommended. Beets tolerate cool weather down to 25F. Harvest for sugar; beets and tops are edible when small, but can be tough and fibrous, with a very sweet flavor that some find unpleasantly sweet.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
