30 Percent White Shade Cloth Monofilament is UV-treated, premium knitted white shade cloth available in widths of 6', 12', 20', 32', and 42'. It is designed for hot climates, resisting degradation and preserving flexibility under strong sunlight. The fabric provides 30% shade with 70% light transmittance, and the white color helps reflect light to keep structures cooler.
It is engineered not to unravel when cut and carries an 8-year warranty with a 16-year life expectancy. The cloth is twice the density of economy shade cloth for stronger performance and does not include clips or wiggle wire; install with clips every 24–36 inches or with lock channel and spring wire. For sizing, match the shade cloth width to hoop house width; for example, 10' structures typically use 20' widths, 12' and 11'4" use 20' (20' for Gothic), 14' use 20' (32' for Gothic), 20' use 32' (42' for Gothic), and 30' use 42'. My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
