Shade Cloth Thirty Percent Black Mono Filament is a monofilament shade cloth designed to protect plants and structures from sun exposure. This premium UV-treated knitted, black shade cloth is available in widths of 6', 12', 20', 32', and 42'. The 30% shade level blocks about 70% of light, making it suitable for hot climates while allowing airflow. It resists degradation, maintains flexibility under intense sun, and will not unravel when cut.
It carries an 8-year warranty against degradation and a 16-year life expectancy. Note that the shade cloth does not include shade cloth clips or spring wire. For lengths over 150', contact us for a custom quote. Install clips every 24-36 inches, or secure with lock channel and spring wire. My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
