Our Seed Starter Potting Mix combines time-tested organic ingredients with living soil biology to give your seeds everything they need to germinate strong and grow vigorous.

Traditional seed starting mixes are sterile and lifeless. Ours is alive. We've enriched this blend with worm castings and mycorrhizae—beneficial fungi that colonize young roots and dramatically improve nutrient uptake from day one. This biological advantage helps seedlings establish faster, develop stronger root systems, and transition to the garden with less transplant shock.
The base of premium sphagnum peat moss and coconut coir creates an ideal moisture balance: moisture-retentive enough to keep seeds consistently hydrated during germination, yet airy enough to prevent damping off and root rot. Perlite ensures excellent drainage and root aeration, while ground limestone balances pH for optimal nutrient availability.

How to Use
- Prepare Your Mix – Moisten the potting mix thoroughly before filling seed trays or containers. It should be damp but not waterlogged.
- Sow Your Seeds – Follow seed packet instructions for depth and spacing. Lightly firm the mix over seeds for good seed-to-soil contact.
- Maintain Moisture – Keep the surface consistently moist (not soggy) until germination. A spray bottle works well for gentle watering without displacing seeds.
- After Germination – Once seedlings emerge, allow the surface to dry slightly between waterings while keeping the root zone moist. This encourages deeper root growth.

SHIPPING:
Products marked with free shipping will be free shipping at checkout. Otherwise, bulk per cubic yard delivery fee per truck is the same amount whether the truck is at minimum or maximum capacity. You may want to know the following guidelines:
- One small truckload full capacity: 9yd soil, 9yd compost, 10yd mulch, 5yd fill, 7yd contractor mix.
- One large truckload maximum capacity: 20yd soil, 20yd compost, 20yd mulch, 18yd fill, 20yd contractor mix.
The best value is always a maximum truckload for your particular product.
We can mix loads in the small truck to bring two products at once with 8 to 9 cu yd maximum, depending on the products needed. You must contact us to request a quote in this circumstance.
If you order online we will contact you shortly after purchase to schedule your delivery day and time frame. We often can do same day deliveries with a small truck quantities, call 727-645-5289 or message us here to find out.
The small truck delivery is generally 1 to 3 work days notice M-S and the big truck delivery is generally 2 to 6 work days notice M-F. If you have a specific day and time in mind then it's best to make your purchase A.S.A.P in order
to help ensure the day and time you need is available.
The delivery fee is calculated during checkout based on product type (weight),
product quantity, size of truck(s) and number of truckloads needed.

RETURNS:
There are no returns once the product is delivered. Most of our bulk garden supplies weigh 800 to 1600 lbs per cubic yard and require heavy trucks and equipment to move in bulk.
REFUNDS:
A refund can be processed if you cancel an order at least 2 hours before the start of your scheduled delivery day and time frame. There's no refund within 2 hours of your scheduled delivery day and time frame.

If you want a quick turn around when ordering soil, this is your guy. If you want someone to dump soil where YOU want it, this is your guy. If you want someone to sell you good soil instead of sand and broken up pallets, this is your guy. It seems weird that a guy and his wife would be so excited about dirt, I know. But we were. It’s the beginning of a big transformation for our house. So we ordered this, I think on and Saturday and surprisingly he said he could deliver it on Monday! So Monday, we woke up and literally wished each other a happy dirt day. I went to work and sure enough, he showed up on time and dumped the dirt exactly where we were hoping. And when I got home I walked over and before I could get there, you could smell the organic material in the dirt. Our plants will love this. Excellent quality. Excellent transaction. Excellent service. Couldn’t be happier.
