The RUFF & TUFF!™ Turf Blend produces a durable lawn engineered for high traffic and drought tolerance. A precise ratio of 35% creeping red fescue, 30% chewings fescue, 25% tall fescue, and 10% hard fescue builds resilience against running dogs and rough play. This mix recovers rapidly from wear and demands far less water than standard options, offering a green space suited for active families and pets with improved endurance.
Sow seeds in spring when soil reaches 55°F, or plant during summer and fall. Dormant seeding works effectively over frozen ground in winter. After initial germination takes 1–2 weeks with consistent moisture, expect slow growth lasting several months before the turf fully establishes. Once mature, the grass slows down significantly, meaning mowing occurs less often and irrigation is necessary only during prolonged dry spells.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
