Royalty Purple Pod Bush Bean is an heirloom variety known for bright-purple, stringless 5–6 inch pods and a sweet, tender flavor. The compact bush plants reach about 18 inches tall and, with regular harvesting, provide an abundant supply of beans throughout the growing season.
Thrives in full sun and well-draining soil, with tolerance to cool weather and early planting. Plant seeds 1 inch deep; germination typically 7–10 days. Plants reach 18–24 inches tall and mature in about 50–60 days. The 5–6 inch pods are purple and turn green when cooked. This variety is resistant to Bean Common Mosaic Virus and was developed by E.M. Meader at the University of New Hampshire, introduced in 1957. Buff-colored seeds germinate well in cold, wet soil.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
