Red Hydrangea Seeds offer hardy perennial flowers that add color to your garden or cut arrangements. These seeds are carefully selected for a high germination rate and are easy to grow and maintain. Sowing options include direct sow in spring—press seeds lightly into the soil surface as they need light to germinate, with soil kept consistently moist; germination typically occurs in 10–14 days. To start indoors, plant several seeds in peat pots with moist soil and indirect sunlight.
Growing notes: This plant prefers consistent moisture and tolerates very moist soil that drains well, but foliage may drop in drought. It adapts to clay soil and shallow or rocky sites. Deadhead spent blossoms to prolong blooming. In good conditions it can spread rapidly by suckers; remove the suckers to prevent crowding. Cut back to 8–10 inches during winter or early spring dormancy. Harvest: for fresh flowers, cut stems just opened and place in water; these stems can also dry by hanging upside down in a warm, dark, well-ventilated space.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
