Mysore Raspberry Plant (Rubus niveus) is a tropical and subtropical fruiting bramble native to southern Asia. It thrives in warm, humid zones, including Zones 8–11, making it suitable for Florida, the Gulf Coast, and beyond. The berries are dark purple-black, juicy, and sweet-tart, produced prolifically along arching canes. Its silvery-backed leaves and white blooms add ornamental value, and the plant is everbearing in warm climates, delivering bold flavor in edible landscapes, hedgerows, or food forests.
To grow Mysore successfully, plant in full sun to partial shade in rich, well-drained soil. Water regularly during fruiting but avoid waterlogged roots. Canes can reach 6–10 ft and benefit from support or gentle trellising. Prune older canes after harvest to encourage new growth. In frost-prone areas, protect roots with mulch or grow in large containers that can be moved under cover. Harvest berries when fully dark and easily detached from the stem. In addition to fresh eating, the fruit is used in jams and traditional desserts, and it is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants for a cooling, nourishing effect.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
