Underbed clearance is 8.5 inches, and slats are spaced 3.5 inches apart for even support. The frame features noise-free padding between the center bar and slats and non-slip tape on the slats for additional stability. It measures 12 inches in height, 62 inches wide, and 83 inches long, with a weight of 52 pounds. It is designed to accommodate most memory foam, spring, and hybrid mattresses; not recommended for Tempur-Pedic, Sleep Number, latex, or water beds. My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
