Purple Jacaranda Seeds for Mimosifolia Tree feature Jacaranda mimosifolia, also called Jacaranda tree or Blue Jacaranda, a sub-tropical species known for purple-blue blossoms. The tree is large and fast-growing, typically reaching 25–50 feet tall with a wide, open, rounded crown. It has greyish-brown, relatively smooth bark. Leaves are fern-like and feathery, deciduous in winter or during dry periods. Flowers form in late spring to early summer in clusters, before the leaves, followed by woody, disc-shaped seed pods. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil; drought-tolerant, but regular watering helps.
Use as an ornamental landscape tree to create dramatic flowering and shade. Fallen flowers can be messy, so planting in areas where cleanup is manageable is common. My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
