Pinguicula 'Yucca Do 1717' is a perennial butterwort that changes leaf form with the seasons. It forms winter rosettes of about 35-40 succulent, narrow leaves and, in summer, roughly 20-30 thinner, broader leaves depending on conditions. The plant can shift from greenish to pinkish or bronze under strong light. While it appears related to the esseriana complex, the exact identification is undetermined. The plants pictured are representative; you will receive a similar specimen that is not flowering now, and may turn pink tones with bright light. It ships bare root in a plastic container to protect it during transit.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
