Pinguicula 'Sunshine' is an in-house hybrid (ehlersiae x mesophytica). It stands out for its unusual flowers, which have faded white ends. The photos show representative plants; you will receive a similar specimen that is not flowering at the moment. Some plants may appear greener than others, but under intense light they tend to develop a pinkish hue over time.
Plants ship bare-root in a protective plastic container. Size is about 0.5-0.75 inches in diameter; mature plants reach ~1 inch. They have been grown under LED lights with day temperatures 75-80°F and night 55-70°F. A winter heating pack is recommended (one per order). Potting medium is Mexican Pinguicula mix; keep soil moist; humidity 50-80%; temperature 55-85°F. Dormancy is not expected, though a winter succulent state may occur. Ships on Mondays and Wednesdays to avoid weekend cutoffs.
