Pinguicula 'Riva' is a registered cultivar by Mark Rubnitz, germinated in late 2013 and registered in 2018 for Riva Rubnitz. The lineage appears to be a cross between (Pinguicula agnata "scented flower" x P. gigantea) and (P. gigantea x P. emarginata). It features a white flower with a bright yellow center surrounded by purple, and the foliage shifts from pale green to burgundy under intense light. Plants ship bare root in a plastic container, with shipments on Mondays and Wednesdays to avoid weekend cutoffs. Arrival sizes are small ~0.5", medium ~1", large ~2" in diameter.
Care details: mature size 2-2.5" depending on care. Light: sunny windowsill, T5, or LED; potting medium: Mexican Pinguicula mix. Feeding: fish food or bugs every 3-4 weeks. Water: keep soil moist; humidity 50-80%; temperature 55-85°F. Dormancy: none, but winter conditions may induce a succulent state. Heating packs are recommended in winter transit; one per order is recommended to protect against low temperatures.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far.
