Pinguicula orchidioides near Ixtlán de Juárez, Oaxaca, México is a perennial heterophyllous butterwort. It develops a winter bulb-like rosette with many pointed, hair-coated leaves and a summer rosette that bears 2–8 larger, petiolated carnivorous leaves. The plant can produce whip-like stolons from the summer rosette to form new plants.
It ships bare root in a plastic container to protect the plant, with shipments on Mondays and Wednesdays to avoid weekend cut-offs. Individual plants measure about 0.25–0.5 inches in diameter (depending on their current phase) and may arrive as a bulb-like form. A heating pack is strongly recommended in winter to guard against low temperatures; one heating pack per order is sufficient. Plants are not flowering at the moment.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far.
