Pinguicula mesophytica Cerro Miramundo is a perennial, hemiepiphytic butterwort from the mountain regions of northern Central America (Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador). The epithet mesophytica is derived from Greek mesos (middle) and phyton (plant).
Plants ship bare root in a plastic container to protect them. The plant is about 1" in diameter. We ship on Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cut off. It is strongly recommended to use a heating pack during winter to protect from low temperatures; we are not responsible for dead plants that did not have a heating pack during transit. One heating pack per order is enough. The plants pictured are representative; you will receive a similar plant. Dormancy is None, but a winter succulent state may occur depending on temperatures. Mature size is 2-3" with proper care.
