Pinguicula laxifolia is a perennial heterophyllous species that produces winter rosettes with leaves clothed in long, white, non-carnivorous hair and summer rosettes with semi-erect dangling leaves. The epithet laxifolia comes from Latin laxus (loose) and folium (leaf). It is endemic to a small area in Tamaulipas, Gomez Farias District, Mexico. The plants pictured are representative, and you will receive a similar plant; the plant is about 1" in diameter.
Plants ship bare root in a plastic container and are sent on Monday and Wednesday to avoid weekend cutoff. It is strongly recommended to use a heating pack during winter to protect against low temperatures; one heating pack per order is enough. For growing, provide bright light—sunny windowsill, T5, or LED—use a potting mix of peat moss, perlite, and vermiculite, and keep the soil moist. Humidity should be 50-80% and temperatures 55-85°F. Mature plants reach 2-3" and there is no enforced dormancy, though winter temperatures may induce a succulent state.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far.
