Pinguicula sp. 'Lautner 92/52' x 'Big Purple Thing' is an in-house Rainbow hybrid, created in 2022. It produces purple flowers; colors range from green/yellowish to pink/wine. Being seed grown, there may be variation in flower, shape, size, and color. Photos are representative; you will receive a similar plant. The plant ships bare root in a plastic container, about 1" in diameter at shipment; mature size is 2-3" with care. Winter transit benefits from a heating pack (1 per order).
Light: sunny windowsill, or LED/T5 lighting. Potting medium: Mexican Pinguicula soil mix. Water: keep soil moist; humidity 50-80%; temperature 55-85°F. Mature plant size: 2-3" diameter. Feeding: fish food or bugs every 3-4 weeks. Dormancy: none, may go succulent state in winter depending on temperatures. Ships Monday and Wednesday; heating pack recommended in winter.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
