Pinguicula laueana x 'Huahuapan' is an in-house hybrid that produces a bright purple flower. Its leaves appear greenish or reddish depending on light intensity, with plants currently about 1 inch in diameter and not flowering.
Plants ship bare root in a plastic container on Mondays and Wednesdays. They grow best on a sunny windowsill or under T5 and LED lights in Mexican Pinguicula mix, with soil kept moist, humidity at 50-80 percent, and temperatures between 55-85°F. Fish food or bugs can be offered every 3-4 weeks. Mature size reaches 2-3 inches depending on care, with no true dormancy though a succulent state may appear in cooler winter temperatures.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
