Pinguicula lauena x elizabethiae {Toliman Canyon, Hidalgo, Mex} is an in-house hybrid created at Rainbow in 2023. This seed-grown plant can display pinkish or reddish hints on outer leaves under strong light, and violet to purple flowers have been observed. Because these plants are seed-grown, individual specimens may vary, but the photos are representative of what you will receive. The plant is not flowering at the moment and ships bare-root in a plastic container. We ship on Mondays and Wednesdays to avoid weekend cut-off.

Plant size is about 1" in diameter; mature size is 2-3" depending on care. Light should be a sunny windowsill, T5, or LED lights. Potting medium: Mexican Pinguicula soil mix. Feeding with fish food or bugs every 3-4 weeks. Water: keep soil moist. Humidity: 50-80%. Temperature: 55-85°F. Dormancy: None, though it may go into a succulent state during Winter. For winter transit protection, a heating pack per order is strongly recommended.
