Pinguicula laueana Sierra Mixe Oaxaca is a perennial carnivorous plant with two rosette forms. In summer it forms 5-8 dark green to burgundy leaves, sometimes with red venation, while in winter it develops 30-50 closely packed succulent leaves. Named for Dr. Alfred Lau, this montane butterwort features bright red flowers. The pictured plant is representative; you will receive a similar, non-flowering specimen.
Plants are shipped bare-root in a protective plastic container. They measure about 1-1.5 inches in diameter. We ship on Mondays and Wednesdays to avoid weekend cutoffs. Heating is strongly recommended in winter to protect from low temperatures; one heating pack per order is sufficient, and we are not responsible for losses when a pack is not used.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
