Pinguicula laueana 'CP2' from Oaxaca, Mexico, is a perennial carnivorous plant with two rosettes: summer rosettes of 5–8 dark green to burgundy leaves (with or without red venation) and winter rosettes of 30–50 closely packed succulent leaves. Named for Dr. Alfred Lau, this montane species is represented by plants similar to the images; the batch you receive is not flowering at this time. Plants are about 1 inch in diameter.
Plants ship bare root in a plastic container for protection. Winter transit benefits from a heating pack; 1 per order is enough. They ship on Mondays and Wednesdays to avoid weekend cutoffs. For best growth, provide bright light—sunny windowsill or T5/LED—and use Mexican Pinguicula mix. Feeding every 3–4 weeks with fish food or bugs; keep soil moist; humidity 50–80%; temperature 55–85°F. Mature size is 2–3 inches; dormancy none, though winter temperatures may induce a succulent state.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
